Ashley’s Memorial Fund supports two heartfelt initiatives:

  • The Ashley Lemire Memorial Scholarship, and

  • Teeing Off For Diabetes - The Ashley Lemire Memorial Golf Tournament

This year marks the launch of the Ashley Lemire Scholarship Award, presented in partnership with St Matthew High School in Orleans. This $5,000 award will recognize an exceptional student who has achieved success while overcoming a significant life challenge - a reflection of Ashley’s own strength and perseverance.

Our first fundraiser will take place on Thursday November 13, at the Canadian Tire Centre during the Hockey Fights Cancer event. We are deeply honoured that the Ottawa Senators have chosen to share Ashley’s inspiring journey as this year’s feature story. This incredible opportunity allows us to continue celebrating her legacy of courage, kindness and community.

We are also excited to announce the third Annual Teeing Off For Diabetes at the beautiful Rockland Golf Club on July 18, 2026.
